I just discovered this chick and I think she's pretty neat. She's rekindled my fire to go to burning man. So that's something

Prison

A friend of mine is going to prison for beating a guy with some brass knuckles...
That doesnt seem right, especially after the guys didnt press charges and actually apologized for starting the fight...

This "system" of governing is damned.

Native Survival

This guy, right here, is a pretty cool guy. On his youtube channel he explains and shows all sorts of survival techniques and bushcrafting methods. As well as self reliance, and how to make the most out of little. And how to make and find useful items in a survival situation instead of relying upon manufactured goods. Ive learned a lot from this guy. If you order from his site it may take a bit of time to get to you. But I have faith that it will be worth it once you recieve the items. He talks about everything from hunting squirrels and how to skin and rack them. To how to make a pipe, and what can you find that is pleasant to smoke in it. And all the little random bits are so worthwhile to see. Myself growing up in Oregon am not real familiar to all the plants he shows in since he is in the northeast of the US. But regardless I find most all of his information relevant and interesting. Give him a look and maybe show some support.

The Busy Mockingbird

This is an art blog by an army wife. She has a very young daughter, and she posts all sorts of her art projects around the house and how she keeps her daughter involved. She has some sewing projects and she talks a little about her roller derby crew. All in all she has some pretty interesting ideas and I like her style of drawing. So giver her a look when you can!

AZ Prepper

I found this site either when I was looking up candle making, or what to do with old Crisco. I don't remember anymore. But I definitely have learned a lot from this blog. Everything to raising quail, to storing food, to growing plants and survival strategies relevant here in Arizona. He talks about teaching your kids about survival and how to take care of themselves without technology. And also goes on to talk about his experiences raing rabbits and chickens. I really liked his "candles", using old oil and crisco. I plan to use many of these things he talks about in my own home.
